Echo Play
At Echo Play, I worked on experimental prototypes exploring how users interpret visual and auditory cues in playful, accessible interfaces. Using Illustrator and Photoshop, I created visual assets and color-map variations to test how people perceive imagery through both sight and sound. The goal was to identify ways design can promote accessibility, allowing users to “feel” feedback, not just see it.
The resulting system demonstrated how multisensory feedback can enhance user understanding and emotional connection. The experiments provided insights into how accessibility can be built into the earliest stages of interface design — rather than added at the end.
Working at Echo Play taught me that accessibility is a design mindset, not a checklist. By exploring perception and emotion together, I learned how small visual and auditory decisions can fundamentally change how users experience interaction. This project continues to inform how I approach inclusivity and clarity in every design system I build.
